Naylor
Antiques, Ltd. was founded in 1992 by Tim and Libby Naylor.
Libby received her B.A. in Art History from Middlebury College
in Middlebury, Vermont. Tim graduated from Middlebury with
a B.A. in Pre-Architecture and received his Master of Fine
Arts from The Rinehart School of Sculpture at the Maryland
Institute College of Art. He is also a 1998 graduate of The
Appraisal Studies Institute at George Washington University
in conjunction with The
American Society of Appraisers.
We
concentrate pri
marily on period American furniture and decorative arts,
with a special interest in those articles from the Mid-Atlantic
region. We have placed items in numerous private collections
as well as museums. Naylor Antiques stands behind the authenticity and condition of every item. In addition to
being a provider of fine, pre-1840 furniture and decorative
arts, we are always interested in obtaining individual pieces
or collections, discretion assured. When
marketing privately, savings of up to 40% can be realized when avoiding the sellor's commissions and buyer's premiums associated with auctions, something to be considered in
today’s competitive market.
We are located in Stevenson, Maryland, about 15 minutes north
of Baltimore, 50 minutes south of York, Pa., and 20 minutes
west of I-95. Please call. Our phone number is 410-484-0133 or you
may email us.
