a Classical carved mahogany work table; by John Needles based on a nearly identical labeled example pictured in Classical Maryland, 1815-1845, Fig. 140, p. 115; poplar, white pine, and maple secondary woods; in excellent condition with a small non-structural 2" patch to the reeding of one leg; replaced brass pulls with original corner drops and inlaid ebony "kite" escutcheons, identical to those on the aforementioned example; dimensions: 30" h. x 20 1/2" w. x 17" d.
