an American Chippendale walnut tall chest; yellow poplar and chestnut secondary woods; 3/4 depth dustboards (one missing); all original feet and backboards retain some original rose head nails; side foot blocks are solid "bootjack" extensions of sides; replaced, or more likely, added back foot brackets; hardware replaced; possible Maryland attribution is based on the provincial use of chestnut secondary and the lack of quarter columns; dimensions: 60" tall x 38" wide x 19" deep (scroll down for details)
